Introducing CDN Engine: The Future of Content Delivery
Alex Chen
Today, we are excited to unveil CDN Engine, a project we've been working on for the past two years. Our goal was simple: to build the fastest, most efficient, and easiest-to-manage CDN solution for developers.
Why CDN Engine?
Traditional CDNs are often black boxes. You pay a premium, but you have little control over how your content is cached or distributed. CDN Engine changes that by giving you full control over your edge logic.
- Multi-level caching (RAM, SSD, HDD)
- Built-in WAF protection
- Real-time analytics
- Instant cache purging
Performance Benchmarks
In our benchmarks, CDN Engine demonstrated astounding performance improvements compared to traditional Nginx reverse proxy configurations:
- Time to First Byte (TTFB) reduced by 65%
- Throughput under high concurrency increased by 300%
- Memory usage reduced by 40%
We believe that performance shouldn't come at the cost of complexity. That's why we designed CDN Engine to be plug-and-play compatible with Docker and Kubernetes environments. Complex routing rules and cache policies can be defined with simple YAML configuration files.
